Managing Seasonal Wedding Demand
Wedding season checklist: availability gates, Summary rituals, disputed clearance, washing capacity and role locks before peak weekends.
Wedding season does not create new problems. It multiplies the ones you tolerated in the off months. Demand management is operational discipline under volume.
Pre-season checklist
Checklist
Catalog hygiene
Photos, sizes, deposit defaults; deactivate long-repair SKUs.
Availability rule
No WhatsApp confirmation without Availability Check.
Disputed purge
Clear overdue returns and settle deposits before taking new advances on those pieces.
Washing capacity
Agree turnaround windows; never book inside Washed & ready lag.
Roles
Lock who can edit rent/deposit and deactivate orders.
Document pack
GSTIN set; rental invoice terms reviewed; challan used at dispatch.
Multi-date readiness
Train sub-orders for sangeet/reception splits.
Offline plan
Confirm staff can take orders when shop Wi-Fi dies.
During peak weekends
- Open Summary → Dispatch and Alterations before the first call.
- Process returns into washing the same day.
- Review Disputed before Sunday night inquiries.
- Use Order Payments report mid-week to catch missing collections.
Tradock in season
Tradock Summary, Availability, washing, deposits, offline sync, and reports are the seasonal control panel. Peak/off-season rate engines are not required to survive November—honest calendars are.
