Process-based answers for owners researching rental operations — availability, deposits, returns, washing, invoices, and mobile apps.
Tradock is rental operations software for Indian shops that rent lehengas, sherwanis, bridal wear, and ethnic outfits—and for boutiques that also sell pieces. It supports availability checks, bookings with dispatch and return dates, deposits, washing status, invoices, delivery challans, GSTIN on bills, staff roles, and offline use of core data on Web, Android, and iPhone.
No. Tradock uses shop language: orders, deposits, dispatch, return, washing, invoices. Staff book after a short setup. Onboarding support helps import catalog data and create staff accounts.
Yes. Tradock runs on Web, Android, and iPhone. Counter staff can check availability, create bookings, manage payments and deposits, and work today’s dispatch or return list from a phone. Core data for products, orders, customers, and sales can work offline after sync.
Billing apps create invoices. Tradock runs the rental cycle: check availability → book with dispatch and return → collect rent and deposit → flag alterations → dispatch with challan/invoice → return → send to washing → settle deposit (full return or partial hold). That is the difference on a busy wedding Saturday.
Tradock is designed for a single shop workspace with centralized inventory. If you operate multiple branches, contact us during a demo so we can recommend a practical setup for your structure.
Register your shop or book a demo. After activation, download catalog import templates, add products with colour and size, invite staff with roles, and run a first availability check before you take a live booking.
Each rental order stores total deposit alongside rent. You record collect payments when money comes in. At settlement you can return the deposit or leave it held. The payment summary shows deposit returned versus deposit held so staff know what is still with the shop.
Yes. Categories can carry default deposit amounts, and each product has its own deposit field. On the order you can still adjust totals—including overriding total deposit—before you save.
After return, record a return payment and mark it as a deposit return when you are refunding security. If you keep part of the deposit for damage or late return, the order shows deposit held (and can show a partial hold). Add a note on the payment so the reason stays with the order.
Pull up the order payment history: what was collected, what was returned, and what remains held, plus any payment notes. Pair that with the invoice terms (damage, stain, late return, alterations) so the conversation stays factual instead of verbal.
Yes. Order payment phases include Deposit held—rent settled while deposit remains with the shop—and Completed when nothing is due and the deposit has been returned.
Tradock generates rental invoices with your shop name, address, logo, and GSTIN, plus rent, deposit, tax lines you configured, and amounts in words. You can share the PDF or send a WhatsApp bill. Tradock is not a GST return filing product—your CA still files GSTR returns.
Rates depend on your registration and service nature. Tradock lets you configure named tax percentages separately for rental orders and for sales. Confirm the correct rate with your CA, then save it in shop tax settings.
Yes. Use Order Payments Report, Sales Report, and Income & Expense Report over a date range (including cash vs online on order payments). Share those summaries with your CA alongside your invoice PDFs.
You enable taxes for rentals, add named rates (for example GST or CGST) with percentages, and optionally apply tax on each new order. Active taxes are snapshotted onto the order so later shop setting changes do not rewrite that bill’s history.
Yes. Save shop name, phone, address, logo, and GSTIN once in shop settings. New invoices and delivery challans pick up those details. You can also customize terms that appear on invoices and WhatsApp bills.
Run Availability Check for the product and dates (or Availability Check by Date for a category). When creating an order, Tradock blocks save if the requested quantity is not available for the period and shows conflicting bills. That is how double bookings get stopped at the counter.
Yes. Products support item code, description, category, type, colour, size, tailor, rent, selling price, deposit, stock quantity, notes, and up to two photos from camera or gallery.
Use the Washing board: mark pieces In washing or Washed & ready. From the order flow you can send selected products to washing after the rental so the next availability check does not treat a dirty garment as ready.
Yes. Open the product and use Related orders to see active bookings on the device that include that item code—bill number, customer, period, and quantity.
Tradock is built for full shop catalogs with categories, types, colours, sizes, and products. Import from Excel when you are migrating off registers. Plan pricing is flat—confirm current limits during demo if you have an unusually large catalog.
Yes. Each person signs in with their own email and password for your shop. New self-registered users stay pending until an admin assigns a role and activates them.
Use system roles (Admin, Owner, Member) or create custom roles with a permission checklist. You can grant or deny access to orders, payments, catalog, washing, availability, summary, reports, expenses, users, and settings.
Yes. Restrict reports, tax settings, billing, and user management while still allowing orders, customers, products, washing, and availability for floor staff.
Deactivate the user so they can no longer sign in. Historical orders and payments remain in the shop workspace for records.
Yes. Lehenga shops use colour and size filters, availability by date, high deposits with partial hold on damage, washing between weekends, and Summary for Saturday dispatch queues.
Yes. Sherwani shops benefit from size tracking, alteration-needed flags, the Alterations summary tab, deposit settlement after late returns, and multi-date sub-orders when the same family books multiple functions.
Yes. Use rental Orders for outfits that go out and come back, and the Sales module for pieces you sell outright—each with its own payments, invoices, and tax settings.
Yes. Book with dispatch and return dates, issue delivery challans for venue drop-offs, track disputed overdue returns, send gowns to washing, and settle deposits after return.
Yes. Flexible categories, types, colours, and sizes fit sarees, anarkalis, Indo-western, kids ethnic wear, and similar rental catalogs—the same availability and deposit workflows apply.
Tradock costs ₹14,999 for the first year with full platform access. Annual renewal is ₹4,999 per year thereafter for hosting, maintenance, and updates. There are no per-order commissions.
No. You pay the subscription. Unlimited day-to-day use of orders, inventory, customers, invoices, and reports is included in the plan—no commission on your rental revenue.
Yes. Phone and WhatsApp support during business hours is included. The team understands rental shop workflows—availability, deposits, dispatch, and returns.
No. Future Tradock features released during an active subscription are included. Renewing at ₹4,999 per year continues updates and support.
Spreadsheets cannot block overlapping bookings, show deposit held versus returned, run a disputed-returns list, or generate rental invoices and WhatsApp bills from the same order. Tradock replaces those failure points with one operational system.
A rental business app helps shops manage inventory, bookings, deposits, dispatch, returns, washing, payments, and invoices. Tradock provides that on Android, iPhone, and Web—with offline support for core synced data.
Yes. On Android or iPhone you can check availability, create orders, record payments and deposits, open today’s Summary (dispatch, return, disputed), toggle washing, and share WhatsApp bills.
Yes. Counter staff commonly run Android phones on the floor for availability checks, bookings, and dispatch lists during wedding weekends.
Yes. Owners and staff can use the same rental workflows on iPhone and iPad, including tablet-friendly use at the counter.
Yes. Multiple staff can work at once with role-based permissions. Data syncs across devices; after the first full download, core modules remain usable offline.
Yes. Search by code, colour, or size, open related orders, check washing status, and run availability checks while standing with the customer—not only from a back-office PC.
Yes. From the order you can download the rental invoice or delivery challan and share the bill via WhatsApp from the phone.
Yes. Record collect and return payments, flag deposit returns, and see whether the order is unpaid, partial, deposit held, or completed.
Typical day: check availability → create booking with dispatch/return → collect rent and deposit → work alterations → dispatch → process return → send to washing → settle deposit. Summary and dashboard keep today’s queue visible on every device.
Yes. During fittings, staff check availability by colour and size, create the booking, collect deposit, and later manage dispatch and returns from the phone—without walking back to a desktop for every step.
Yes. Use Web for catalog import and longer report reviews; use Android or iPhone on the floor. Same shop workspace, synced data.
Core rental operations—orders, inventory, customers, payments, deposits, washing, availability, summary, invoices—are available across Web and mobile. Some setup tasks like Excel catalog import are most comfortable on Web.
Before confirming, check availability for the product and date window (or by category and date). Create the order only when stock covers peak concurrent use. In Tradock, overbooked quantities are blocked at save and conflicting bills are listed.
An advance reduces rent due. A security deposit is held against damage, delay, or loss and is returned or partially held at settlement. Keep them visible as separate concepts on the order so accounting and customer conversations stay clear.
Use a delivery challan when goods leave the shop—especially venue deliveries—to document what went out. Use the rental invoice for billing (rent, deposit, tax). Many shops issue both from the same order at different moments.
Search by name or phone, open linked orders from bill search, and resend WhatsApp bills from the order. Keep address and alternate contact updated for delivery. (Dedicated measurement CRM is not required for this lookup workflow.)
Today’s dispatches, today’s returns, disputed overdue returns, and unpaid or deposit-held orders. In Tradock that maps to Dashboard counts plus Summary tabs for Dispatch, Return, and Disputed—and Alterations before dispatch day.
Use the phone app: search the catalog, change washing status, open related orders, and run availability checks. After initial sync, core catalog and order data remain usable even if Wi‑Fi drops.
Excel cannot reliably block date conflicts across two counters, show deposit held versus returned, drive a disputed-returns board, or produce WhatsApp bills and challans from one order record.
Inspect the garment, decide the deduction for damage or late return, record a deposit return for the refunded portion (or leave deposit held), and write the reason in the payment note. Tradock payment summary then shows deposit returned versus held.
