How Bridal Boutiques Track Dispatch and Returns
Run wedding-weekend logistics with a daily dispatch list, return list, alteration queue, and disputed overdue returns—not a WhatsApp group as the ops board.
Wedding season Saturday: six gowns and four lehengas leave before noon. Three returns arrive after 6pm. If the only plan is a staff WhatsApp chat titled “today,” something will be forgotten—usually a return that blocks Monday’s booking.
Better process
- Every booking has dispatch date/time and return date/time.
- Flag alteration needed early; finish work before dispatch day.
- Morning: print or open today’s dispatch list; issue challan/invoice as garments leave.
- Evening: process scheduled returns; send pieces to washing.
- Daily: clear disputed/overdue returns before taking more peak bookings on those SKUs.
Tradock-supported workflow
Order statuses move pending → ready to dispatch → dispatched → completed. Summary tabs: Dispatch, Alterations, Return, Disputed. Dashboard shows today’s booking, dispatch, return, and disputed counts. Export Summary PDF for the floor briefing. From each card, open the order to update status, payments, or washing.
